On April 4, 2008 Mentoring in Medicine and The Highland Family represented by Dr Shannon Moffett, Dr Berenice Perez, Dr Carter Clements, Dr Jocelyn Freeman Garrick, volunteer Marquell Craddock and the renowned Dr Dan Price, introduced ultrasound to the students at FACES St Rose. Dr Price delivered a spectacular lecture on ultrasound basics while we practiced in small groups with 3 machines donated for the day by Sonosite.

FACES- St Rose is a program for high school students who are interested in health careers to expose them to the sciences and opportunities in medicine at a young age.
