WELCOME TO HIGHLAND GENERAL HOSPITAL

Highland Hospital, the main county hospital and trauma center for Oakland, California is home to one of the first Emergency Medicine residencies in California.

The mission of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Highland is three-fold:
1.To provide outstanding emergency medical care and service to the diverse community of Alameda County.
2.To educate the health care providers of tomorrow.
3.To advance the specialty of Emergency Medicine.
